Two weeks ago, I spied a Twitter message from Marc Meyer about numerous words beginning with the letter “C” that describe social networking:

Social Networking in Words

After tweeting back and forth with Marc, I present him (and you) a list of 68 words beginning with “C” that help describe social media. The three words singled out by larger-sized fonts were automatically generated at TagCrowd.com:

Social Media tag crowd

I think this is accurate. Can you think of other C words?

Hey Ari, I was listening or watching David Armano’s guerilla cam at The Forrester gig and I remember this word from someone’s keynote yesterday- Confluence. Social media is a confluence of ideas, people, technologies, and tools. Although confluence just might be a grown up word for Mashup though… Great list and post, glad I could inspire you! Not that you need any.

69 and counting
