Methuen Mayor Bill Manzi, on his blog, brings up a firefighter rally earlier this week at the State House.
The question to be asked is whether firefighters (and police officers, for that matter) should be drug tested on a routine basis. The controversy wages both ways.
A Google.com search indicates two Daily News stories with the phrase, “drug testing,” but neither involve the city’s public safety departments.
Maybe there are non-Google archived stories from the local press.
Should firefighters and police be drug tested? What do you think?
