Ari, I really like this topic. A year later, the government has stepped up the importance of technology; but there is still need for improvement. It would be nice to see custom government websites consistent in every community. If you’re not ahead, you’re behind.

Our Metro-area Utilities District just recently started offering people the chance to pay online, but it is HORRIBLY hard to navigate and it is so cheap looking that I frankly don’t trust its security.

You are right…local gov’t does kind of need to get with the times.

Hi Ari – I think we are in exciting times with our connectivity, and it makes sense to embrace it as much as possible. You have some good suggestions for governments there (if your computer is frustrating you perhaps you could get a Mac!!)
