Reaching out for help

The subject above says it all.

Whether you have a question about Twitter strategies or Facebook page creation or generating business with Yelp–or anything in between–I am confident every person reading this sentence has at least one question about social media or online marketing that is dying to be asked. Since I’m no expert, it can’t hurt to get my take, can it?

How can I help you today?

Leave a comment below and I’ll either reply in kind or, if appropriate, I’ll write a longer in-depth blog post about you and your question. Every question will be answered.

Thanks. Have a happy day!

I read a lot of blog advice blogs that say it’s necessary that your blog has a specific focus to drive readership.

My blog, which I began five months ago, has a PR/social media slant to it, but I cannot write about that topic 24/7.

Should I stick to one topic? Or, does the fact that I’m writing about different topics show my true “voice” and, thus, I should stick to what I’m writing?

How do you get Facebook fans for a page if the only way you can invite them is through a personal profile? I am creating a page for a business, so I don’t want to be-friend people on my personal account just to be able to “suggest” the business’ Facebook page to them. I’m not into spending my own money to advertise there either.

Thanks!

Does posting article directories is the best way to get yourself to the top of search engine ranking?

How many directories should I submit an article?

How many articles should I submit to article directories before I could get a 200 uniques a day?

Ari, thank you for making this generous offer. I do actually need help with something. Quite awhile ago, I won your 1,000th follower contest, and the prize was a guest blog post. Well, the issue is, it’s difficult for me to write. It’s not my favorite thing to do, and I am undisciplined about it. I would like you to help me write the guest blog post I won from you. So, how about it?

Thanks again,
Lyell

What’s your response to the people who say Twitter makes sense only for celebs and major B2C brands / or those who say they “just don’t get Twitter?” I have my thoughts and have commented on LinkedIn groups, but I’d love to hear your response to those sentiments.

Woops! I thought the Facebook section above would post here… I wanted to subscribe to subsequent comments to see what others were asking (and your answers, of course). So pardon the repost?

Q: If you could have a one-on-one with ANYONE about social media/corporate WOM, who would it be?

(Seriously, a question I’ve been pondering, and wondering who the rockstars would consider THEIR rockstars!)

Ari — In your estimation, what’s the difference between a local government that uses social media and one that uses social media well?
