Roger Ebert writes a very concise review of “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Maybe it’s a preview, having been published four days before the film’s U.S. release. In either case, it’s a good thing I didn’t read Ebert’s thoughts or any other critic’s thoughts before seeing the film tonight.
Considering I’d been awaiting the fourth Indy film for the better part of 15 years since reading about early script development during my freshman year of college, I was very excited to see it. Moreover, because I refrained from any pre-knowledge other than watching the trailer, I appreciated the film more than having any type of expectation.
I’ll wait a day or two to collect my thoughts and will post a review to the Internet Movie Database (where my film reviews link on the right points to).
