Is the Future Here?

Beginning at Ignite Boston 6 and continuing at Pecha Kucha Boston 13 — two different event organizers, two different venues, and two different segmented crowds that each watch a series of timed presentations that automatically advance slides every 30 seconds — I talked about the future.

As the latest edition of my Saturday roundup, I embed my two very similar slide decks below and the Ignite video of me is at the bottom of the post.

This video of me was filmed on September 17, 2009 at the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology in Boston:

Those are cool photos! I wonder how many of those are genuine or if there’s one.

By the way, your “this video of me” link is a .mov file which you can easily upload on YouTube and grab the codes from there to easily embed it here. There are options however on YouTube if you want to make the videos publicly viewable or to a selective few.

I really didn’t watch it because it’s an auto download but looking at the status bar, it was a .mov file which is playable on Windows Media players. That’s probably the easiest route that I could think of if you want it embedded here. There’s really no need for a plugin for that.

Also, it seems that you’ve placed a dupe slide on this post.

The only doctored photo is the guy flying over the bed. The rest are legit.
