After nearly 18 months of residence on Blogger’s free blog hosting platform, I exported my posts and comments to Wordpress last night.
Like settling into a new home, I need to explore my surroundings and figure out how I want to express myself here. I’ll write more about the process in the coming days, as I still have some work to do. Already, you can see a new look and more changes are on the way.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Hi Ari,
I am so excited for you. And it looks great!! I know you are going to be busy writing about the process but I would be thrilled if you would consider guest posting on my site about the technical side of the process.
Yay!

Congrats on the move over. Wordpress has so many more features and options and ways to customize. The only downside to that is finding new things you want to incorporate daily, but each of those benefits either you, the readers, or both, so it’s ultimately a good thing.

Glad to have you as a common WPer! I’d recommend getting Zemanta. I’ve not been using it long but I’m finding it really useful.
