Local UFO Sighting is Very Odd

by Ari Herzog on June 14, 2008

Exactly one year ago tomorrow, on June 15, 2007, I blogged about a UFO museum I visited in Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia.

Today, the Newburyport Daily News asks whether a local man saw a UFO on the morning of Friday the 13th.

As I wrote a year ago, it is very easy to dismiss one’s sighting as a hoax unless there is corroborating evidence.

But by the same token, if a tree falls in the forest and only one person claims to have seen it fall, who can truly say the person is lying?

All I know is the timing of my blog entry last year and today’s news story is odd. I don’t believe in coincidences but it is very odd.
