I for one is very optimistic that the image being portrayed to the international world about Nigerians is about to change.

As more and more Nigerians come online, we will be able to show in real time that the name Nigeria is not synonymous to CRIME, FRAUD, SCAM and such. There are honest, hard-working and lovely citizens of Nigeria.

The present government is working on the electricity issue and there is great hope for reduced cost of internet connection.

However, irrespective of all that, many young Nigerians are taking the bull by the horn by using the little available resources to come online where their voices can be heard without intimidation.

I am proud to be a NIGERIAN!

Thanks Ari for the props. Cheers!!!

Great post! I strongly believe that Nigeria is on the verge of bridging that Digital Divide. The only chink is the erratic electric power supply. Thanks for the props;-)

It really would be great if that miracle would happen soon.

I shudder at the thought of the potential just waiting to be tapped.

Of course, it would also be nice if the electricity situation improved.
