Off to Israel in 12 hours

In about 12 hours, I’ll be sitting on a bus rolling from Boston to New York. From there, it’s a 3-4 hour wait until our El Al flight departs JFK Airport for Tel Aviv.

My entire suitcase is spread out across my bed right now, as I ponder if I really want such-and-such item of clothing, knowing I can always purchase stuff over there if necessary.

I will still overpack, but only slightly. I hope.

I’ve had anxiety/excitement jitters for a few sleepless nights, partially cured by my fifth visit to an acupuncturist on Thursday. I hope I don’t feel nauseous on the bus ride to NY or throughout Israel, though I was fine with recent short bus trips. Still, I’m packing some ginger gum just in case.

Time to finish packing, then off to the gym to work off some steam, and I’ll briefly stop off and see Jude, who I haven’t seen in several weeks and is having a cookout.
