Sharing Blog Posts With You

Earlier this week, I created a video for you that illustrated why I use Feedly for reading blog posts, and not Google Reader like most of my peers. If you haven’t seen it yet, do take a look.

An element of Google Reader that is not of Feedly is the ability to share with you selected blog posts.

Sharing other people with you

As I read articles on the blogosphere, I mark certain posts to be part of this running history of what inspires me. The posts are shown in reverse chronological order.

Scrolling below, you can see a summary of who and what inspired me this week:

John Jantsch guides you with 5 tips to improve social media marketing, from integration to amplification to lead generation and more.

Danny Brown probes the competitive nature of Twitter updates and blog comments, the subject of yesterday’s confession.

Janet Fouts outlines 6 proven methods to attract Twitter followers. I dare you to try one method today.

Nick O’Neill advises businesses skeptical of launching social media campaigns without measuring ROI reconsider those motives, for it’s illogical to worry.

Amber Naslund argues hiring people because of job titles is meaningless. You need to focus on completing the project.

David Armano concludes there are 10 social media secrets–and confides he’s guilty of breaking some of them.

Seth Godin suggests there is more than one way to hire candidates for a job–and holding multiple 60-minute interviews is the wrong route to take.

I don’t use the share option that often, but I have been thinking about cleaning up my Google Reader, as there are a lot of blogs that are no longer updated in the system. Maybe I will give Feedly a try with the current blogs I read and love.

I haven’t used the share option either, probably a more selfish side of myself – I simply go and get the information I want and then move on. lol
