Do you think it would be beneficial to be able to have multiple photos like Facebook? You know how Facebook has photo albums, would it create Chao or use on LinkedIn?

Thao Ly´s last blog post..loveurmindnsoul: @ariherzog Lol, should i join the argument? I'm more of a pacifist than a fighter. I believe in fighting for causes that help the world. =D

I had my profile photo the day feature became available. It is something most people should do. I went through multiple pictures, while soliciting feedback from my friends. I think I landed a good one (it is also on my blog).

I have heard concerns from some individuals in 40+ age group that it opens them up for age discrimination. My answer to them would be that there are more positives than negatives. People can figure out your age anyway. Plus, why would you want to work for any company that discriminates against you. And don't give me that BS about the market. Startup world loves diversity, that is what keeps us competitive!

I certainly agree with adding a photo, but why in color - what if you're a photographer or writer or other creative type? I don't feel that a color photo is more important than one which is clear and well-shot.

Personally, I'm not smiling in mine, but it was taken as a series by a professional photographer, and it just happened to be my favorite of the bunch. I don't use the same photo on every network, either. I find that a little disingenuous.
