Godin is quickly becoming one of my favorites as well. Started reading Tribes and had at least 10 ideas for blog posts after making it through 10 pages.

Think you've captured a couple of things well here:

1) The people we meet on Twitter, via our blogs, throughout our social media interactions and the relationships we forge are what keep me going when I get frustrated or times get tough. People are inspiration and they are the lifeblood of businesses, not products. Well pointed out by you.

2) More and more people just have a desire to enjoy what they do in life and follow their dreams, whether at work or play. There's no line between personal and professional, there's just a vision a desire. And the inspiration people bring about makes that vision and desire seem achievable.

Enjoyed your post and will continue making a point to check out your blog/tweets, especially if I'm searching for some inspiration of my own :).

I can see why you recommended this particular blog post, Ari - it's inspirational on so many levels and reaches more than just your normal readers.

Things are changing on a worldwide scale, and not just in business. Maybe I'm wearing glasses with too much of a rose tint, but I feel there's a huge groundswell happening all around us.

Sure, there are still things and people that try to destroy us and what we're trying to achieve. But their numbers are lessening all the time and the good are becoming great and leading us.

Always a pleasure, Ari, and kudos to Seth for commenting - see, he does know what blog comments are! ;-)

Nice post. I just picked up "The Dip" from my library and have been diving into it during my lunches. It's changing the way I'm viewing me and my potential and where I want to go from here. And, like the other Andy, I'm reading "Good to Great". I recommend that one as well.

Nice post. Like you, I was inspired by Seth's work, though for me it was Purple Cow. It inspired me to strive to be remarkable, and to help my clients be remarkable, different, better.

Hi Ari,

I am one of those people that have a RSS feed from your site and read every Twitter tweet. I enjoyed our conversation a couple weeks ago - let's talk again soon and continue to draw inspiration from each other's work and ideas.

On a side note: I have been listening to the audio version of "Good to Great." I would recommend you check it out. Although it's written about companies, I am drawing inspiration from it as an individual, seeing myself as a company.

Thanks again for your great posts,

Andy
