VIDEO: What is Feedly and Why I Use It

by Ari Herzog on August 27, 2009 · 3 comments

Google Reader is a RSS feed reader that most people use to read blog entries. I have an active Google account and have a Reader account configured, but I don’t read your blog posts with it. Rather, I use a Firefox application called Feedly.

For visual explanation, here’s a video I created:

Three sets of thanks are in order. First, thank you John Haydon for inspiring me to realize I never blogged about Feedly, despite using it since last summer. Second, thank you Louis Gray for blogging about the then-new RSS application. Third, thank you Screenr for making this screencast technology available.

Over 30,000 global visitors read AriWriter every month, with thousands opting to receive daily alerts every morning. Please choose from the RSS feed or email delivery to join them.

Great technology. I love Firefox. I think the additional features is what makes this app great.
