As a follow-up to my prior list of 22 Wordpress plugins I use today, I tip my hat to Andrew Rondeau for his excellent compendium of 111 Wordpress plugins assembled across the web.

Perusing through Andrew’s summary, I quickly realized he included more generic lists and less categorical ones.

With this in mind, and considering the master index of Wordpress plugins on every topic imaginable, here are an assortment of recommended plugins for your clicking pleasure…

As a Wordpress plugin developer myself it is always good to see people like yourself compiling lists of ways for people to get ahold of our stuff. We work hard and give it away for free!

How often do you receive donations from users?

Smiles. That is a great question. Well, I received one donation for the year of 2009. I had about 2 or 3 other people promise to donate if I aided them in configuration of my plugins which resulted in no contact once I helped them and needless to say no donation. To be honest I would have helped them anyway.

I help probably about 3 people a week configure my plugins on their blogs. About one every two weeks needs code written out for them. I actually enjoy dealing with so many internationals. The web is a playground and Wordpress is a great set of monkey bars.

Thanks for the question Ari. I appreciate the work you do here.

The usability and sheer number of plugins to fit any type of blog is probably the number one reason why I love Wordpress more than any other blogger platform out there.

Great Ari,
Now I have a ton of work to do :-) I love playing with new wordpress plugins. Sometimes I have to catch myself from spending too much time on playing around with them on my blog. I am going to have to check out your list of the 22 that you use today. I haven’t read that post yet, but I really like a lot of the features that you have on your blog here. I also really like your theme, very open and easy to read, not crowded like a lot of blogs you see.
